Meet my baby. Her name is Neko.

She sleeps a lot and is super cuddly. She sleeps pretty much everywhere...
    including on top of doors.

This image is a few years old, but even now in a new house she does the same thing.
She'll climb the shoe rack to get up there by herself.

She's not really a kitten anymore, but she still can get super playful.

I love my fluffy calico. <3

    WOW!! :D

My cat Ninja likes to sleep in a small cardboard box, the kind you see used for canned goods, on top of the fridge and I thought that was odd. You little Neko takes the cake! Has she ever fallen off while she was sleeping?

She sleeps in boxes, under the desk at our feet, and many other places too.

I think she's slipped but she's always caught herself on the shoe rack.
It's a cloth shoe rack that you can see the top of in that picture.
It goes all the way to the bottom of the door. That's how she gets up and down...and catches herself if falling. :)

This is the same cat who also likes to sleep on top of bicycle tires... as in, balanced on top just like the top of the door. How in the world she finds that comfortable, I will never understand.

Lol - too cute! I really admire her for being able to balance (then again, cats are good at balancing, no?) and she does seem comfortable. Thanks for sharing and welcome to the club, Neko!

If the door is shut, she will literally cry for someone to open it.
    Thanks :)

Awe, thank you. In those picture you can't see how fluffy she is, though.

What a beautiful cat! That photo of her on the top of the door really made me laugh - cats really do manage to sleep in the strangest places!

That second picture has to be one of the coolest cat pictures I've ever seen. I can't imagine how she finds that comfortable! lol Anyway, she's wicked cute, definitely want to see more pics. :)

I cannot honestly say. I just know she's a female calico.
She was just a kitten from a friend of the family's outside cat's litter a few years ago.

Yes. She sheds a loooot. Especially from the transition Winter -> Summer.
I try to brush her often but sometimes I can't.
I measured her tail fur once and it was roughly 6inches while the rest of her is probably 3.

    Thank you. :)
They really do. It's kind of amazing. I'd fall in my sleep balanced like that!

haha Thank you. I don't know. She'll sleep in the strangest positions.
I'll be sitting at the computer and she's sleep draped over my arms and twisted under.
    She sleeps almost anywhere.

Here's a picture of Neko in a box probably about a year ago.
The box is about 4-4.5ft tall and she'd sleep in the bottom while it stood upright.

I hate this transition too. Especially Tabu has terrible fur this time of year and I can't cope with it.

It's quite annoying to be honest. Neko ends up shedding year round because of her long fur but this transition is the worst.

This is too funny! I love the nap on the door picture. Your kitty has a lot of personality! I would love to have a funny cat like that. You probably have a bunch of wild pictures of Neko in funny poses.

haha We really do. They're mainly on CDs or our cameras though so it may be a bit until I can really post some.

What an amazing cat. I've never seen one sleep like that before. I wonder how she ever got the idea of sleeping there. She certainly sounds like a fun animal to have around.

She really is fun to have around. So playful and cuddly.
She climbed up there and just...stayed. I think it started out curiosity and then it just stuck.

Wow, you have quite the adventurous cat! I've seen a similar image of a cat on a door and wondered why they would want to do that. It doesn't seem comfortable at all!
    She does look rather cuddly!
